We believe baptism is the outward expression of an inward decision to put your faith in Jesus. We practice full-immersion baptism, symbolizing the process of death and resurrection that Jesus went through on our behalf. Jesus modeled this public profession of faith for us 2,000 years ago, and told us to do the same after inviting Him into our lives.
Children. If you have children, you may have wrestled with the question of whether or not your children are ready for baptism. To help you answer that question, you can check out the baptism information (video/discussion guide) on Right Now Media. After you watch the video together, use the discussion guide that will give you the tools you need to have that conversation with your children. Infants. Can my infant be baptized? Throughout the New Testament, the Bible teaches us baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to Jesus. In the Bible, Jesus' parents dedicated Him to the Lord (Luke 2:22-40) and he was later baptized as an adult (Matthew 3:16-17).
